Six Geospatial Projects Won 2016 National Science and Technology Awards

Six projects from the geospatial sector won prizes at the 2016 National Science and Technology Awards Conference held by the State Council on January 9, 2017. Among them, the Theory and Key Technology on Remote Sensing Spatial Information Credibility of Major Aerospace Projects won the first prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award; the Key Technology and Application of Collaborative Spatially-enabled Decision-making in National e-Government, the Study and System Building of the National Public Geoinformation Service Platform, and the Quantitative Remote Sensing Technology System and Application of National High-resolution Land Satellites won the second prizes of the National Science and Technology Progress Award; and the Key Technology and Application of Location-based City Travel Information Service, and the Key Technology and Equipment of Unmanned Automatic Measurement in Complex Reef Waters won the second prizes of the National Invention Award.
